The first time I came across this name in the menu (because it was the cheapest meal) was at a small restaurant which was serving breakfast. I didn't know what to expect and I ordered it with a poached egg. The waiter placed the plate in-front of me and I took a bite, it was one tasty meal and I polished the plate in seconds.
The name comes from the bubble and squeak sounds made as it cooks. It is normally made with the left over roast dinner but can be made from the scratch as well. The name bubble and squeak is used throughout the United Kingdom. In parts of the country the dish may be referred to as bubble and scrape. I wanted to try it at home but I forgot about it until last Saturday. I checked for the recipe online and I got different versions of it. One thing I noticed when I had B&S for the first time it was a bit bland. So I wanted to make my version of B&S and this is how I made them.
This serves 2 people and is so easy to make.

1/4 part of Cabbage
2 - Green Chillies(de-seeded)
